where does it go when you pick it up?  I can't find it, so I can't give the actual names, but it's the adra "coins" and durgan gear "coins".  Are they useful anywhere, and as I asked, WHERE are they anyway?

I think they're just automatically converted to dyrwoodan pand (i.e. the base currency you use for everything).

They're just money. They're useful because they're money.

Oh.  Well, jeez.  No wonder I have 200k pand and nowhere to spend it....  Thanks for the info.  I'm beginning to think I should just pm you my questions, as obviously you know all the answers!

True facts. All the different types of coins you pick up automatically convert to the common currency. The different types in different places are just for flavor an atmosphere. It's a good effect, IMHO--really breaks immersion for me when I'm in a dungeon and looting modern coins, and it avoids the hassle and frustration of going somewhere to convert for cost.

Very true, hadn't thought of it like that!
