When I load a saved game, if I click left moust button during load screen, I get a Windows window that asks me if I want to end PoE task. Windows detects this loading time as un-responsiveness. If I do not click any mouse button during load time, then saved game loads fine. Still, this is an issue...

Try running the game as administrator and see if that helps. My only suggestion I can offer you right now is not to left-click while loading. Are you playing in windowed mode by any chance? 

This issue has begun to happen to me today. Full Screen.

I think its the lack of repaints in the loadingscreen that triggers windows app hung detection. The loading screen has only the still picture but the cpu load at loading is 100%, so it looks from outside as "does nothing".
