Looking for a workaround for the main quest being broken. Apparently waaaay back when I first visited the sanitarium, I somehow broke the main quest line (I suspect by going into the sanitarium basement and then leaving before advancing the quest). Now I have no version of The Man Who Waits available, completed or otherwise, in my quest log. Hermit of Hadret House is still listed as incomplete.

Game save file has been attached.

Hey gamerthulhu,

I didn't see any attached files, could you please re-upload them via dropbox and post the link here? I'll require a save file, an output log, and a screen shot.

Thanks a bunch!

I have forwarded your information and files to the appropriate department. They will take a look at it and see what the issue is.

Do you by chance have an older save before you spoke with the acolyte in the Temple of Woedica?

Thank you for your support!

Nah, I wish. It'd been something like 20-40 hours of gameplay since I visited there anyhow.

Hello again,

Its been awhile, but do you remember what happened when you didn't receive The Man Who Waits quest? You should have gotten all 3 quests when you talked to the acolyte. All the variables are correct in your save. Also, do you or did you have the IE mod installed?

Thank you for your patience.

I don't remember what happened when I didn't get The Man Who Waits. I would have reloaded a save had anything noticeably wonky occurred.

I did try to install the IE mod after realizing that I couldn't progress in an attempt to find a way back to the right state, but no such luck, the mod didn't appear to do anything (I may not have installed it correctly)

Unfortunately I can't help you out with any issues with the IE mod, Hopefully someone from the community can help you out on that issue. But in regards of the current issue at hand, I have forwarded your information to the proper team and hopefully they can figure out the problem. Try uninstalling the IE mod and see if that changes anything.

Thanks you for your support and patience during this issue.

hah, no worries about IE mod. It doesn't appear to have done anything, and I've got no use for it anyway if your boys can fix the issue. Thanks for the help, btw. Top Notch customer service.

Out of curiosity, has there been any update on this issue? I've heard nothing back in the past three weeks.

Hey Gamerthulhu,

I apologize for the wait. The issue is still under investigation. The programmer did say that all the variables are in place and you should have the quest, seeing how all the quests are given at the same time. So its a mystery on how you did not receive the quest. It is a possibility that your save file got corrupted. Have you tried playing 2.0 on the beta build and seeing if it updates for you? If you decide to do so, please make a back up copy of the save. You are welcome to create a new game and continue playing while you wait for this issue to be resolved.

The focus of fixing bugs are currently for major, critical, and game-breaking bugs as we are moving towards the release of The White March expansion. So this may take some time.

Again, I really do apologize for the wait, and thank you for your support and patience.
