For those who don't know, if you are a friend of Twin Elms you get a size-able  discount at the various vendors within the Twin Elms market place (except with the weapon vendor). But, the discount works both way - you can sell goods to the merchants for a marked up price.

What does this mean? It means you can sell plate armor at their vendor for 2300 coppers rather than just 400 coppers at a regular vendor, you can sell a normal hood for 57 coppers rather than just 10 coppers.

By the end of the game, despite only having access to these merchants for a short time, I had used all of the enchantments I wanted and finished with 350,000 Coppers.

This may be a glitch, and it may be patched in the future. Because at this point money is no longer an issue... at all. Whatsoever. Certainly this option might be here for players who are financially constrained and can get the most from the last pieces of loot they have to sell.

What do you guys think? Is this excessive? We are basically raking in a fortune selling excess gear to tribals...

I imagine a plate mail would be valuable to them, but yeah seems very excessive.

Fortune favors the bald.

If this isn't just a bug (and I assume it is), then I'm definitely against this.

I hope Obsidian reconsiders reputation effecting sell value of items. I am fine with a reduced purchase price, but selling an item should be static revenue.
