Icantha Permanently Hostile

When I first met Icantha I attacked and killed her (thinking I had to do that to save captives) she immediately respawned and I got the "she shows only minor scratches from the fight" and then she immediately became hostile. This time when I killed her she didn't get back up.

 

Now I've finished the tower and I have to talk to her for the password but everytime I enter she attacks me again. Once killed the screen fades as if loading a cutscene but when it fades back in she's just gone.

Oh god yes, someone else has the same issue. Each time she respawns she's hostile so I assume I can't complete the game at this point. I hope this can be fixed in the next patch.

Hello all.  Yes, we are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.  We want to make sure that fixing this quest is fully fixed and doesn't affect anything else.  When a fix is found and tested it will be available in a future patch.

Same  thing here, i can't talk to her anymore, i tried to kill the dud on the top of the tower but she only attack me, died and some kind on empty animation frame and she is gone.

 

Can finish the game without it ? else plz a  hot fix !!!!.

I'm stuck with the same problem, is there a way I can fix this myself before the patch is released ?

Preferably a way that would not deactivate the achivementts.

Same Problem here,

 

i'll do other quest and hope the problem will be solved soon... Icantha spawns in the room each time I enter, but is Hostile. I kill her and she's gone... Re enter the room and this scene loops...

Any indication if this will be fixed in the new version?  Is their a "force friendly" console command?  I don't care about Steam achievements, I just wanna play the game.

I decided to do the Od Nua dungeons intsead but allas, you can't complete level 13 whitout completing this quest.

So I resorted to using the consolse to reset Icantha, achivements be dammed !

 

For those wondering how to do it :

 

1- Open the console, press the "~" key (upper left, next to the "1" key)

2- Press entrer

3- Type "iroll20s" without the double quotes and press enter (this disables the achivements)

4- Re-open the console

5- Press enter

6- Type "SetIsHostile NPC_Icantha false" without the double quotes and press enter

 

You should then be able to continue on with your quest.

this took too long for them fix - just started a new game.  sucks that we kept asking for a hot fix and the admins/developers ignored that request and it took the above person to figure it out.

Hello, all.  I apologize for the long wait on this bug.  It is currently in our database marked as very high priority, being worked on by the design team.  

 

I tested this bug inside and out and it was very hard to reproduce.  It seemed to happen with certain dialogue choices only, but was not consistent even with those.  Bugs like this can be very tricky to completely track down and fix.  Be assured we are aware that this breaks progression and are doing everything we can to fix it quickly.  Thanks for your support and patience during this issue.
