I need to vent some steam. I am currently doing ACT 3 and so far, I have found out that there are a lot of flails, spears and daggers/stillettos (some two handers too) but little else in other compartments.

 

Just because I only have Kana as every now and them two-handed melee user, I found most weapons of little variety.

 

So far, I have only seen one unique mace and one or two warhammers.

 

I miss 2H battle axes and more weapons.

 

Maybe for future expansions.

Anyway, there's actually a lot of different versions of each weapon. Itemization may be an issue in PoE, but when it comes to the variety that is there, it's fairly even-handed. I can't tell you what you've missed, because I'm not sure what you've done and what you haven't done, or what you've found, but aside from Swords and maybe a few other weapons, I've seen about the same amount of each type.

I'd like to see more weapon types in the game too, like Waraxes and Mauls, but they're not even in the game, and I already think that there's issue with how a lot of weapons feel (or are) same-y (point-in-case).

But for the weapons that are in the game, there's a fair amount of each, with very few exceptions, I'd say (Hatchets, Daggers, Swords are things I haven't found many of).

IMO, the problem is not the weapons, but the side items such as helmets, boots, hoods, belts and rings. There is little variety and they are actually very weak
