May 2, 201510 yr Hi, Increasing character intelligence increases spell duration.This is obviously good for most spells but what about spells that give damage over time to the target?For example "Necrotic Lance"? The description says: "15.7 damage over 7 sec (base 5 sec)" My character's INT increases the duration from 5 sec to 7 sec, but if the damage is constant it just means it takes longer for the full damage to be delivered!Either the description is wrong or worse, this is a huge bug in the combat engine. Or am I missing something?
May 2, 201510 yr The description is wrong; longer duration means you're getting full DOT damage for the base 5 seconds, then additional damage on the extra 2 seconds. They really need to work on the wording of some of these spell effects.
May 2, 201510 yr Afaik, display issue, as View619 said. The issue with the wording was pointed out during beta but nothing has been done about it yet. It should say X damage each Y for Z.
