so i have been hearing complaints that combat is chaotic, etc etc, i myself have little problem with it, but i have an idea:

 

those circles below characters? what if we can choose the colors for our companions? like we set green to MC, yellow to eder, purple to aloth etc, it will have 6 different colors, except red since it's reserved for enemies.

 

if i am not not mistaken, baldur's gate did this, and it make us easier who's who beneath all those shiny effects during pause

It was EE that introduced it, would like to see it in this game aswell.

I do that with the color of the clothes, each character has his color (purple for Aloth and so).

Yes exactly - thats what i do as well.  Just change up the clothing colors or put on esthetic hats etc if you are not already wearing a buff item in that slot.
