Does good reputation have any effects?

I have good to great reputation almost everywhere, but with the exception of two dialogues in Twin Elms, this reputation never came up. Are there other instances where good reputation actually matters?

Ive had a few people comment on it in Defiance Bay, someone gave me a gun too as thanks via curior.. Guess it needs to be fairly hihgh though?

Yeah it matters, I remember seeing plenty of reputation checks in dialogue.
