Wizard's level 6 spells are BEYOND op.  20 second and 5m base AoE that: Sickens, Dazes, and Paralyzes. Chain Lighning that Foe Jumps (Jolting Touch on drugs). AoE Petrifiy (DEX set to 0 lol). There was another one that was also incredibly strong I can't see now.

 

I'm so mad I didn't stick with my wizard till late game with my first play through.  Talk about a slowly ramping up freight train.  Even with Aldoth's crummy stats I can turn any group of mobs into target dummies.  C'mere you Ogre Druids I got a treat for ya.

Yes the best CC class in the game by far, Wizard T4+ starting with Confusion.  (1.03)
