April 3, 201510 yr Yes. You get an attribute bonus based on the companion you sacrificed. Sacrificing Edér for example will net you +1 might.

I believe it has something to do with the dialogue response you choose initially as well. If you respond with something outside the tenants of the faith of Skaen, the pool tells you it can't make use of you. (or something like that).
