March 31, 201510 yr My friend recently purchased this game for me, the Champion's Edition, off steam. After downloading it I go to play and I get stuck in an infinite loop of an update saying that i am unable to launch the game. Looking into the folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity ) there is no .exe file present.
March 31, 201510 yr Did you try Steam's "verify integrity of the cache" thingie on PoE to see if it would download any missing files? (r-click on game in Steam client list, Properties/Local Files/Verify) Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.
