Random question - does this count ALL resting, including at inns? I'm guessing so, but the firepit icon had me second-guessing whether it's only for wilderness rests. If it's the former, I'm not interested in going for it. If it's the latter, then no problem.

Thanks!

No idea how that'd even be achievable since the only way to actually heal health seems to be to rest.

I'd say you'd have to do the crit path, min-max your characters, ignore any side quests (or at least do pacifist outcomes to get xp), abuse the xp mechanics (eg. walking in and out of every house and map, etc), play on easy and rush towards the end of the game.

it does not say anything about difficulty, so... create munchkin part of custom chars and breeze through the main quest avoiding all optional fights when you can (to not get HP dmgs)

Also, pick up the eight companions and create another eight adventurers to help you get through the game. You'll have 16 to swap in and out to push you through the game without resting. eg. Once a companion/adventurer gets low on health, swap with another that's on full health.

Right. Likely a gimmick party like a cadre of Rifleman Chanters or some-such.

Not sure if you'd want chanters or paladins or priests.  You'd also want to stick them in heavy armor with heavy ranged weapons so they can nuke stuff without much fear of getting nuked in return.

I'm thinking chanters, assuming summons' stats aren't derived from yours in any way.  Who cares about fatigue penalties if you're not the one fighting?

Chanters also have the benefit that they won't run out of spells if you just keep going.

You can use Rangers also, as pets never lose health even when they get knocked out. I'm running a full ranger party and despite a few 'surprise' encounters when rangers got to melee, they leave each combat unscattered.
