When I tried to leave Odda's home with the camera zoomed out fully, hovering over the exit marker made the cursor change to a red 'blocked' marker (presumably because it's so near the bottom of the screen) and the exit marker vanish and reappear a bit to the left. When I moved the cursor to follow it, it returned to its original position.
To get out I had either to zoom in or to hold down Tab.
