Hello,

 

Reporting in that "Cage Cursor" options  stops working after a conversation and need to be reapplied inorder to work.

Confirmed for me as well, this also happens after scripted events such as 

the ambush at the beginning of the game.

Though I find alt tabbing out and in works as well.

 

Note that I'm running the game in windowed mode.

I have also experienced this.  I'm running in full screen.  It doesn't consistently fail after conversations, but always after a skill challenge sequence.
