saif3r Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hi Guys, I need a clarification on how exacly active effects are stacking. It is in my understanding that only the highest value is taked under consideration, the rest is suppresed, but there is something in the guide: Every character has two ring slots. Rings are special because they contribute bonuses that stack with item/spell bonuses (but not with each other). Rings are not shown on the character. Magical rings are often signifi cantly more valuable than items of other types because of how their bonuses stack. Could anyone explain on how does this working exactly? Thanks in advance. This Wall doesn't have hole in it.
madglee Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 This is a completely unhelpful reply, but I acknowledge your question. I wish I knew the answer. Back to Google.
Heijoushin Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 It seems to me that many effects don't stack. If you have an armour of might (+1 might) and a ring of might (+2 might), you only get the +2, not the total of 3. Can't speak for other effects.

saif3r Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Game guide (the one created by Prima Games). The thing is that i have a cloak and ring, and they do not stack. Edited April 1, 2015 by saif3r This Wall doesn't have hole in it.
Arkh`Cthuul Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Bonuses generally do not stack unless specified otherwise. A Design Choice I do not like very much but can accept as a way of minimizing the "Overpowering of anything by good Equipment". Items that grant the smae Bonus never stack, but obviously from the above Guide (if it is correct of course) Rings stack with Spells/Abilities. Simple as that. Edited April 1, 2015 by Arkh`Cthuul
