Agreed. It's a very odd oversight in this day and age. I'm almost certain that the BG engine supported it.

Yeah for now I'm gonna use my X-fi soundcard's CMSS function. It's better than nothing.

Is there really no 5.1 Spund ?

Yeah I think it is only 2-channel stereo.

But this game is from 2015 ?! Why ?

I  was wondering if I had a glitch.  It does seem like 2.1 only.

 

Also, in some conversations I have voice over for part of the text, but not all - is that normal too?

I will get an intro voice over and then a final, but nothing in the middle.  I wasn't expecting any, so now I wonder if it is buggy.

Yes, it is normal for only some of the text to VO.
