Gladiuss8@gmail.com Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I recently noticed, that when you cast any spell that causes damage, especially AOE spell, you can hear the specific spell sound and see how many enemies got hit by it, but you can't actually hear how many enemies got hit by that spell. I mean, as far as I remember, there was a sound effect in the Infinity engine games, when you casted a fireball - every enemy hit by that spell made the "woob" sound, indicating that he actually got hit. Sound indication on how many enemies got hit by particular spell would be very helpful to the overall combat feedback, and it can be fixed just by adding the standard "woob" sound (the standard sound when someone hit something with a weapon) to a situation, where character is getting hit by any spell. I think that it would be amazing addition to the PoE combat, because casting spells seems a little bleak right now.
Sensuki Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I think this is actually related to a bug: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/70248-435-voice-sets-in-character-creation-cant-be-interrupted/ http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/70477-435-possible-options-menu-sound-bug/?hl=sound Only one sound can play at a time, and it can't be interrupted by another At least that's what it seems like to me
