Hurlshort Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 These are business decisions. They can parcel the game out any way they want, it's their product. Our strength as consumers lies in not buying them, and clearly there is a large enough customer base to justify selling parts separately. We can argue the ethics behind this, but honestly unless the game is unplayable without the DLC, that's a very tricky argument.
GhostofAnakin Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I get nightmares just reading about those slow walk dream sequences. Whoever at BioWare thought those would be a good addition to the game should never work in the game industry again. Bryy Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 There's a massive gap between content cut from an early script, then implemented later as DLC, and content cut from the game itself to sell as DLC. Yup. Darth, under your standards, every game in the history of gaming besides Pong has a content ripped from the game. Hell, every product in the history of everything has.
DarthDeven Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 There's a massive gap between content cut from an early script, then implemented later as DLC, and content cut from the game itself to sell as DLC. look,if in the final release of the game there are lines of dialogue 'hidden' specifically mentioning Omega's mission to get it back.it's content cut for DLC and it wasn't an early script,it was barely a month before the game was supposed to be released then due of the leak, many scripts got reshuffled and EA gave bioware 3 more months to remove all traces of it.
