Falendor Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Don't know if anyone else realized this but Resolve is actually an offensive stat and perception is a defensive stat. Resolve reduces how often you are interrupted, the less your interrupted the more of your attacks go happen and the higher your DPS. Perception increases the chances of interrupting an opponents attack, thus reducing there DPS. Tanks want Perception to make them tankier, rogues want resolve to get the attacks in. Just something that blew my mind late last night.
Sensuki Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Yes that's correct. I posted this in July http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66462-understanding-combat-mechanics-or-how-i-stopped-analyzing-weapons-and-started-to-love-the-game/?view=findpost&p=1466474 What an interrupt actually does is reduces the overall damage/durations of status effects that are inflicted upon your party over time (by a fractional amount).
