Hey Sensuki, are you seeing this in-game anywhere, or just in the stringtable for the gui?

gui.stringtable - In D&D, Will is always refered to as Will, it's not shortened.

That is true, and in the inventory and character menus it correctly displays will as "Will". Unless you have seen it displayed in-game as "Wil", I think the version in gui.stringtable is simply a reference and not the spelling used in the game.
