What is the relese price for game and expansion?

I just spent some time waffling back and forth on adding the expansion to my pledge. After watching a game play video I decided I was in for another 20 bucks no problem. But knowing what the expected retail price is going to be would've helped push me over and might help others on the fence. Any word on the release prices for the game and the expansion? Any details on that expansion yet?

No such details at all. They themselves are unlikely to know - you can't really plan for an expansion concretely when the main game isn't done yet. We know they would prefer to do a meaty old fashioned expansion pack which is able to provide a lot of content and add new features to the gameplay, as opposed to just a DLC.

 

I'd guess somewhere around $30 - lower and the backer discount becomes negligible, higher and it's too expensive for an expansion pack.

What about Pillars of Eternity 3 man. How is that coming along? Team on full steam or what? I want everything... PoE socks, old socks of course worn by a dev while he worked on PoE2 and i want it now! But it must be signed in blood!

Since you can get the game now on the webpage for 35$ and they said they are stopping offering this cheaper version on 22nd of August, full price is going to be at least 40$.

What about Pillars of Eternity 3 man. How is that coming along? Team on full steam or what? I want everything... PoE socks, old socks of course worn by a dev while he worked on PoE2 and i want it now! But it must be signed in blood!

When being funny or silly is the opposite of being serious then i was feriously illy again because i dont take myself to serious. I can laugh about my own comments the most but in your case of question i couldnt resist to post what i did cuz i needed some silly laughs for myself... so if your complete text especialy the question about the expansion was serious then i nailed it at least for me...

I miss the days when that was an acceptable price to pay for an expansion. They seem to be so statistically small, nowadays (usually). I'll happily pay 40 bucks for a whole 'nother campaign.
