The vamps were a major part of 

army of

,

Hippies were probably replaced by the homeless,

The christmas critter's were most likely a summon and the creators would of most likely kept the summons to a minimun,

The crab people most likely just didn't fit in the story.

Who knows though we may get DLC

Great thread. 

 

Hopefully, some of this can make it into DLC without hurting the base game.

The game was in development for a long time, so no big surprise that a lot of stuff was cut.    

We have to remember just like we never got shaq fu 2, we may never get DLC

I'd need to find it, but at least one interview mentioned they reworked the original script, so who knows if this stuff even fits into the storyline of the released game. Though I'd certainly be happy to get some more crab people action.
