I bought the digital game from the start.  Today I got an email that stated:

Before we begin, I would like to remind our backers to complete their orders on our website if you have not already done so. Many of our backers have filled out their surveys and we've been able to work on implementing their content. Not long ago, Kaz generated these portraits for some of our generous backers.

When I ordered the game, I prepaid for it.  I went on the website to "update" my information and you wanted me to pay for the again...what gives?

You are not being asked to pay twice. That link directs you to the website where you will determine how your monies will be divided. For example, I paid a total of $52.00 and that is broken down into: $25.00 for the game, $20.00 for the expansion and $7.00 for the strategy guide.

You need to link your Kickstarter account to your website account -- once you've done that, your problem will go away.  Since my account is already linked, I can't give you the exact procedure, but it was discussed in depth in one of the previous updates.

Yeah, when you first paid, it was sort of like you bought a digital giftcard to Pillars of Eternity 'R' Us. Via the pledge management portal, you sort of officially assign that "store credit" towards your specific tier items and add-ons. It sort of locks it in and confirms the specifics of your order.

Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
