Hello,

i'm almost finishing the first Baldurs Gate and i am loving the game ! It have his issues but it is being fun nonetheless.

One thing that i can say that i missed in this game is when you are talking to important npcs it does not show a portrait. ( i remember seeing only when you meet your companions for the first time).

I think PoE would be more immersive if a portrait was shown each time you talked to an important npc (for example a quest giver). I think the new shadowrun game does this very well.

This is my opinion, what do you people think?

PS: sorry for my bad english. it is not my first language :)

I don't think I find static portraits in dialogue trees more immersive, but I don't mind if they're there, as long as they're pretty small and don't create an over-inflated spacial-size/scrolling issue, if that makes sense. :)

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

I like having the portraits in the dialogue bar.

Best is if every important NPC has their own portrait but I think budget constraints mean that  for PoE there'll be some but not all.  (Josh previously mentioned in one of the update threads that some of the NPCs have portraits).

So I think it'll be like BG2 in that regard.

And if it's moddable, we can put our own portraits into it to fill the missing ones if we like.
