I recently got a new computer and have game installed. It runs fine, except that the sound is low. In-game sound settings are near max and actual computer sound level is where I usually have it for games. Is this a known issue? What can be done about it? Thoughts appreciated   :)

That's quite wierd.  I'm not sure how you could fix the problem, but I do have an idea about how to get around it if nothing works.  Use headphones, that way, even if the sound is low without them, it should be at an acceptible volume with the amplification of the headphones.  Sorry I don't have any ideas for fixing this, but I hope the headphones can help.

Are you audio drivers up to date? What kind of soundcard do you have? Is EAX enabled? Have you tried using Force Software?
