My take on how merge KotOR II's story to KotOR1

Featured Replies

Hi, i usually post at the bioware forums but since it's more or less known that Obsidian is working on KotOR: Sith Lords i thought that i could register here as well

My suggestion is about how you could connect the stories between the games in a more or less discrete way:

In the beginning of the game someone recognizes you as one of Revan's former followers and you're brought up for a hearing about it. At first, they give you a datapad with diffirent pictures of Revan, containing all the selectable characters, male and female from KotOR1, from where you can identify one as Revan. After that, they'll ask about what happened to him after the Star Forge, where you can select from DS/LS ending, who survived and so on...

In this case everyone ends up happy  Ofcourse, this means a bit more of work for the devs on who makes a cameo appearance, the Revan/Bastila relationship and so on, but it should give the player a some sort of better connection between the games atleast.

That's a pretty good idea.

Of course, they might just leave Revan in the robes and mask. No need to choose a face then. His voice is the problem... that would require 2 sets, male/female, unless they make him male by default

The way you describe it will be the most plausible one, but one can always hope <_<
