ah I was wondering what shard you were playing on.

I really liked that shard except for the mounts. Mounts were never meant for hi speed internet....I digress.

 

But, an MMORPG, even one as great as UO (in it's beginnings), shouldn't be emulated in all aspects for this project.

I think it would get tedious seeing every piece of mundane gear on NPCs, but now that I think about it more it really would come down to the looting system.

 

If they could separate the garbage from the stuff you'd actually want I could see that working. And there is some merit to killing someone, and wearing their clothes as a disguise, so it could work in certain situations.

The key would be to avoid cluttering the loot boxes.
