cosmin haraga
how are you going to treat the map? bg like or fallout like ? already there but you need to find out about it - freely explorable are there going to be locations that only apper after you find out about them even if you stepped there already (fallout map) random encounters remain as a spot on map or dissapear afterwards . JohanKris
random encounters remain as a spot on map or dissapear afterwards . Random encounters can't remain on the map, only locations. Unless you encounter snails on an epic journey through the world.

From what I've heard you'll be travelling from location to location, rather than in a sandbox environment. There's bound to be at least a few locations that you only find out about through exploration or as a quest. "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats." Unless you encounter snails on an epic journey through the world. Think he's referring to the old Fallout special encounters. Some random encounters were just enemies and you could not return to that location, but sometimes you found a special location like a crashed alien ship or a gathering of cultists. These locations could occur anywhere at random times and once you discovered them you could return to that location later and it would show up on your map.
