domanz Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Hi, I would love to back your project, but living in Austria, I'm not given much choice and need to own a credit card to be able to pay on amazon.com. Why is there no option to pay by paypal or something else? This way, I won't be able to help you and recieve a downloadable version of your game if I don't get a credit card, which I'm not sure if I want to do that. Is there really no other way? Thanks.
C2B Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Paypal will probably come after the goal is reached. Before that it would be a little dishonest as Paypal immediatly charges you compared to Kickstarter who does so after the project actually ends and gets funded. 1
domanz Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 Thanks for the answer, now I understand why paypal is not an option before the minimum goal is reached.
Avantenor Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) You could use a so called debit card. Technically it's a prepaid credit card. You transfer money from your bank account to the card and can use it. There is no dispo, no possibility to pay more than has been transfered. There are several providers with different conditions, for example Wirecard. Edited September 15, 2012 by Avantenor
