Delterius Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I was thinking about out-of-combat game mechanics. Off the top of my head, I can remember crafting, healing, dialogue and the usual Thief utility (open lock, disable device, scout ahead) as things present in past D&D games like in the old Infinity Engine goodies. I wonder if the developers plans include these, others and if they see beyond what was done before. Anyone here got a nice idea for non-combat gameplay that might enrich the whole experience?
Nonek Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Tracking, divination, research, bar games, hunting, prayer, escaping from imprisonment, labouring for coin? Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
