Yeah, it's not as bad as the dive that Death Note takes but it changes from the original dynamic before the characters actually develop. The ending was bad too, but I've gotten used to most anime having ****ty endings. Guess that's why i'm not that into it anymore.

 

On another note, the remake of Evangelion is quite good.

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*
