A Revised Drizzt Film

First off, the story I believe should now be based off of the end of Homeland, parts of Exile and mainly of Sojourn.

 

Jarlaxle - Michael Rosenbaum, he has proved that he can play a bald cynical schemer

 

Drizzt - Chris Pine, I have no explanation but watch Unstoppable

 

Wulfgar - Tom Hardy, after Bane and that guy from Warrior, this one is a taker

 

Roddy McGristle - Ray Winstone

 

Artemis Entreri - I stick by my fact that Vin Diesel will make a good Artemis, I mean they are both bald and Riddick is like a mirror copy of Artemis

 

Regis - Barry Pepper, take an actor that nobody knows and look at his past history.

 

Catti-Brie - Emma Watson? Honestly I could not think of a role for this one.

 

My plan for the story, its better than the last one: Drizzt flees Menzoberranzen with Matron Malice and Baenre setting Bregan D'aerthe out after him. He emerges in Mundalbar where the frightened citizens place a bounty on his head, he is saved from Roddy McGristle by the halfling Regis, who too has a bounty on his head and is being followed by the assassin Artemis Entreri. The two depart for Citadel Adbar where Regis is to meet with betrothed friends Catti-Brie and Wulfgar, on the way they pass through Dead Orc Pass, a place where they set up camp but are attacked by orcs and goblins. When Drizzt fends the two off, Regis witnesses his great fighting ability and decides that the two could make great allies. They depart quickly from Dead Orc Pass and arrive in Citadel Adbar where Regis is allowed entry, but Drizzt is not. Using the Ruby Pendant, Regis manages to smuggle Drizzt in, but no dwarf trusts the drow. Drizzt is put to work by the horrid Prince Harnoth who refuses to trust the drow and believes that he is a scout to an invasion or a freeloader, a reasonw hy he i put to work. When Drizzt saves the dwarves from goblin attacks, he displays his skills to Wulfgar and Catti-Brie who wish to learn from him, though Wulfgar is a bit reluctant, eventually the dwarf kingdom begins to trust Drizzt, all exept Prince Harnoth. Artemis Entreri manages to track Regis to Citadel Adbar and using the tunnels beneath the city, he kidnaps the halfling after an intense duel with Drizzt. Drizzt goes in pursuit after Entreri while Citadel Adbar launches its campaign to retake Mithral Hall from Shimmergloom leaving Wulfgar wondering whether he should lead the campaign like Bruenor wanted him to, or help Drizzt in his pursuit of Entreri. This also leaves a cliffhanger for a sequel.
