Have you tried any wikibooks? If you download libreoffice you can do some drawings/graphics.

other tools:

bouml (uml2 toolbox to specificy and generate code) (5 reviews 4 stars)

umbrello (tool AND code generator) (5 reviews 4 stars)

gaphor (1 review five stars)
