xylan Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Is there some hidden mechanism that is triggered when you decline quest rewards? I always think if I say no reward is necessary, they'll turn around and give me something better. So far doesn't seem to be the case hah! Do you get more XP or something?

Not additional XP, but if you decline a reward for every quest in the town you'll end up with a Deed for it. Deeds grant permanent stat bonuses, and can be found under the Deeds section in the menu.
Tale Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 For Raven's Rill, if you decline all rewards you get a deed. But I think you may still get some rewards, anyway. Like a piece of equipment. After Raven's Rill, I didn't really see as much in the way of getting things for turning down rewards. But then it might affect companion influence. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
