i started on hardcore and decided to try turning on online. and i ended up getting 4 players and was confused. how does the looting work.. i've picked up the other characters gear and not sure if i have to equip them or do we all have our own equipment? and when i save does it make the others freeze in place? i see them running in place..

 

we ending up getting destroyed at the fishing quest and i quit to eat, but wasn't quite sure how this chaos fest worked.

Everyone shares loot, which is mostly character-specific anyway; saving doesn't 'freeze' anyone.

ok cool so if i pick up something for lucas can he equip it, or does he have to pick it up? ok so it must just be me then, wasn't sure if they get frozen or not.

It doesn't matter who picks up the loot as they are character specific. So as long as it gets picked up, the person playing the character the loot is for can choose to equip it or not.

Yes. They are usually on by default. If not, check and adjust your Steam settings. If console... whatever you normally do with 'em.

yeah im on console.. I'll check settings next time i play co-op and check.

Should be enabled by default I think. When I jump into a game mine is on and I didn't change anything. Just make sure your mic isn't muted, a problem I seem to forget a lot
