Hi, I have just started the game, 3 hours or so in. I keep getting asked after quests if I want to take money from them or not. I can not work out, or find any reference in the manual as to whether or not this makes any difference to anything. My companion does not seem to care either way and I have not noticed any good/bad slider for my character. Does it have any effect other than the amount of money I have?

If you refuse all rewards in Raven's Rill you gain a Deed which signifies this and gives a certain bonus to your character.

Thanks, after that point can I start getting rewards or will this continue in each area?

I think it' sonly that area, though I can't quite remember.
