I'm thinking that I made a huge mistake by going full Executioner's Charge instead of full Willful Charge.

By going Willful I would get 100% more damage from the start instead of waiting for the health to drop to 50%, and I would still get a critical chance but more powerful one because of the 100% increase in base damage. With everything considered I would deal more damage in shorter time spam, eliminate non-bosses instantly and bosses more quickly.

Your thoughts?

It only increases your contribution from Will towards damage dealt; not all of your damage (Attack+Will); which would end up instead of 100% increase it would be around a 50% increase (Assuming Will is near or at the same level as attack).

I just started a new playthrough and put 3 points into willful and it's a whole lot better, no more waiting for lower enemy health, big damage from the start and much bigger criticals, instantly killing most enemies and you are overall much more effective because you use it far more frequently which means you dash from place to place avoiding damage.

That depends entirely on your build. If you go high agility, Willful Charge will obviously be better. If you neglect agility, Executioner's Charge should add far more overall damage.
