I am doing the quests for the Meisters to win their votes. I completed the crypts and then went to the foundry. When I exit the foundry, the city is on fire. I found it a little strange that there was no cutscene or conversation. I simply exit, the city is on fire and being attacked by automatons... A little weird. I've tried viewing some walkthroughs - apparently there's a quest that I should automatically get after doing the foundry/crypt, but I do not. Normally I would go to the Meisters to advance the plot, but they just say their usual stuff. I noticed in the walkthroughs I read, they did the foundry first and then the crypt. Perhaps that is the problem?

When you exit the foundry and walk up the short stairs to the main streets, you should get a cutscene with Marten Guiscard. Pretty much as soon as you exit. Perhaps check he is there and try to talk to him manually? If he's not there, something's not firing in the scripts, I assume..

The order you do it in shouldn't matter.

Yeah I read that I was supposed to talk to him, but I've looked everywhere and he's nowhere to be found. I of course have tried loading my last save, and the problem still occurs. Have also tried completing other quests before continuing.

Having the same trouble, also did the "crypts" questline first. I do not get the cutscene. Is there anyway to force start the intermission with marten? A little frustrated since the only save i have to go back to is a save from the "tumble down court" quest.
