In terms of things like budget, staff, and development time, F:NV was not a substantially larger project than DSIII. Smaller in some ways, actually.

Damn, really dig the way the game looks. Love the steampunk feel to this area in particular. Also, it's hard to get a sense of since the video cuts away to Nathaniel talking every now and then but this cave looks like it's fairly large. Interesting set-up for a quest as well, was reminded me of the Arcanum orc labor unions, hehe.

 

It does show off a bit what often holds back hack'n'slashers for me though which is that it just looks a bit repetitive here, lots of monsters to kill. Though I guess that's the draw for a lot of people as well. :) Also, punching goblins off bridges = lol.
