Darth Reven Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 I think it would be cool if the time of day would change as you play like Grand theft auto but not as rapidly. And mabey certain parts of the quest and/or side quest could only be completed during certian parts of the day.
Grand_Commander13 Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 No to the "mabey certain parts of the quest and/or side quest could only be completed during certian parts of the day" nonsense. This is not Majora's Mask. But the night/day cycle would look pretty. But I'd rather them spend the time they would use implementing it on hunting down bugs instead. Unless it wouldn't take them much time at all. Then it'd look neat. Curious about the subraces in Pillars of Eternity? Check out
TSAdmiral Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Didn't the original KotOR try to give day transitions but were cut due to lack of time or something? I hope this is back in, but if not, that's no biggy so long as the story and characters are engrossing.
Leferd Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 It would certainly add to the atmosphere and koolness of the game. If Bio Jr (Biobsidian?) can include it -great. If not, no biggie. "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
Blackbishop Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Day-Night cycle was not included KOTOR 2....due to the fact that they would had to create night textures for almost everything. Granted I agree with you it would made a nice addition
