Can't install - c:\\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Data\Models.bif

When I try to install the game, on the bottom left where it shows the files it goes up to c:\\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Data\Models.bif

and then it goes no further. I've tried installing another game so I know its not the install shield wizard. Any ideas on getting it to install?

Maybe your disc is damaged or corrupted. Can you replace it?

yes, but I'm hoping that theres another alternative.

Sometimes just cleaning the disk is sufficient.

You can see if the problem really comes from the disk by trying to make an iso copy of it using something like magicdrive.
