June 9, 201015 yr (PC Version - Steam) As it would be difficult for me to describe this bug beyond asking "Why does my Alpha Protocol sound like a broken game of Double Dragon NES?"; I made a video and posted it on youtube instead. Twice after this has happened to me i've had to re-enter my CD-key from Steam to play but I don't know if the two are related. Video Link
June 9, 201015 yr It's not related to the Steam version. I have the CD copy and have had this error twice for no obvious reason.
June 9, 201015 yr There's another topic on this, have a search. Some suspect it's related to the DRM throwing a hissy fit, and can be solved with a simple deactivation / reactivation (see Known Issues thread for how). Good part is, it won't lose you any activations and should be relatively simple to 'fix'. Bad part is, it may or may not work, as a 'suspected' fix... let us know. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)

Yeah, my bad there, I found it a little while after I posted. At least you guys have some video evidence now, right? I'd say that it's definately DRM related as it's happened to me again after having posted the original topic and once again It prompted me to enter the CD-Key. DRM; punishing legitamate purchases daily. We get this junk and they wonder why people choose piracy.
