I have found the biggest problem with all the graphics whether it's mouse lag or the ticking issue when streaming or AI spawns is from Bloom and High Quality Bloom, once disabled 90% of the issues disappear.

 

Can anyone else with a PC verify this?

 

 

The problem is, when you disable both Bloom settings, it prevents several UI Menus from working correctly. Normally Bloom settings don't prevent UI Menus from working, never seen it in Unreal before anyway. Since I am not a programmer I can't tell maybe the UI Menus whether the menus are using VB or maybe NETFramework.

 

If anyone else can confirm this then at least Obsidian would know where to look for a fix, for the majority of PC performance issues.

 

Any tips on how to get the Menus working with OUT Bloom settings?

 

Btw the game looks a LOT better without Bloom and DoF on. Why Blur out the wonderful textures, the Artists spent so much time creating? Boggles the mind.

Tired to do the same, failed, also some other options in the ini also mess up the game.

I've turned bloom off and see all UI. Still have DoF on though.
