June 2, 201015 yr When attempting to hack the first computer in the training mission it became apparent that the "interact" button (be it default or remapped) does not 'lock in" your left column selection as the instructions claim it should. Left mouse click works fine for the right column, but nothing I've done coaxes the game into accepting the correct selection for the left column. This of course breaks the game, making it impossible to proceed from that point. Unless anyone knows of a fix for this, I'm simply going to shelve it until it has been patched a few times.
June 2, 201015 yr So what is it mapped as, for you? It should be 'space' default. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
June 2, 201015 yr Did you try pressing the spacebar? The interact button is e by default and is not used in the hacking minigame. edit: Damn you tigraines, you were seconds quicker than me! Edited June 2, 201015 yr by blackwolfe

Hi - I had this exact same problem. First of all, thanks to the guys who already replied, wouldn't have fixed this myself without this thread. I was able to get it running by switching the original binding back to Spacebar - and I can still use my secondary binding for interacting with everything else (doors, alarms etc). For what it's worth - the key I'm using is Enter.
