Enoch Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) So, for the first time in over a decade, I might be joining a PnP group. The would-be gamemaster has suggested using Mazes and Minotaurs, a free old-school minimalist RPG system that is loosely based on Greek myth. He also plans to set the campaign on a map of the eastern Mediterranean, in roughly the 3rd century BCE, but with magical realist touches in that Gods, Nymphs, mystical powers, and whatnot are extant and influential. Has anybody here played this system? Thoughts, warnings, or advice? Edit: Page 36 of the "Maze Master's Guide" is hilarious. Edited April 7, 2010 by Enoch
Amentep Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I've never played it, but the manuals are hilarious. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
