Gunners_rule Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hey guys, Please move this forum if it isn't placed correctly. I purchased kotor 2 5 years back. Over the years, the play disk has developed scratches that cause loading screen lags(as far as what I think is the problem). Without purchasing a new cd, is there a way to solve this problem? I am new so please explain in detail. In other words, I just need to create a backup so that I can play with the backup cd. I made an image of the play disk and burned it on the a CD-R but it says wrong disk inserted. Please help me.
refuse Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 You probably need to buy new discs, unless you can contact Lucas about them sending you replacement discs. Anything else sounds illegal.
Deadly_Nightshade Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Anything else sounds illegal. How so? He is allowed at least one back-up. "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
refuse Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Because he still needs to override the securom protections to get images and cd-r's to 'play' properly and it seems like a roundabout kinda way of asking help for a crack.

Not necessarily, although this is not the time nor the time to discuss that. Still, I understand where you are coming from - even if I disagree with your conclusions. "Geez. Fionavar Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Gunners_Rule, I would suggest contacting Obsidian directly. I will also let Admin know and they may be able to help. F The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
