When I save a game, it's fine. When I go into another area, it loads fine. But when I load a saved game, it's...not fine. It just freezes. I fixed this problem before by reinstalling it, and then it worked, but do I have to uninstall and reinstall every time I play a saved game? Is there some sort of a solution? My game crashes sometimes too, but only occasionally, so I'm not really bothered by that.

 

And all my specs and stuff pass through. I have the recommended drivers, etc.

Hey, I feel ya, I have to reinstall Age of Empires if I want to play it. Hope you can find some help, sorry, I can't.

Are both of you using Vista? If so, try installing the games outside of the "program files" directory.
