Anyone played this game? It got horrible reviews due to bad controls and the hard difficulty, but others say it's fantastic and scary. I always wanted to hunt down that game, and now I found one copy at ebay, but before I snatch it I want to know what the Obsidianites have to say.

And does the PS3 really play all PSone games?

No, the PS3's backwards compatability was shot when they gave it a price cut to stay competative. And the PS2 sometimes has write errors to the memory cards.

Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition!

Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Hmm, seems to be on a per game basis, per the official website.

EDIT: And plugging in that title indicates no problems.

"No major problems for this title."

Seems like I'm lucky.

But how is the game? Certainly someone must have played it?

Watched some youtube videos. Looks like fun, but I see it has crappy controls, so I think I'll pass.

I loved Alien Resurrection, it was scary and fun and the controls weren't THAT bad, but hey, I'm a Resident Evil fan, so I enjoy tank controls.

The best moments in that game were when a facehugger planted an alien embryo inside you(that could happen anytime if you werent careful, these werent a fixed events) and you had to find a special item to remove baby alien from your body . I also remember first time meeting an Alien in that game, brrrrr.

Alien Trilogy was also fun and scary for it's time. It has nice CGI cinematics, atmosphere and it ties the story of Alien movies in one game nicely.
