Okay everyone, I am borrowing text from Gorth, just in case the voice sounds off :(

You guys have been spoiled too much! :)

Not really, but the spoiler section seems more 'divisive' than 'unifying' at the moment and is scheduled to be consolidated into the main C&C forum section.

It means, that the threads in the spoiler section will be moved to the C&C forum, so careful when digging through older threads, it is possible to end up with more spoilerific information than bargained for.

It also means, that it is still Ok to have threads dedicated to spoiler information (lets play threads), but people are asked to be a bit considerate towards their fellow forumites. Use spoiler tags when giving away 'spoilers'. If a thread is all about spoilers, please mark is as such in the thread title or the description.

E.g. "Let's play Pong, spoilers abundant!", "[SPOIL4U] - My life as a Grey Ooze in Nethack", etc.

If the irresistible urge to give away information in the middle of a harmless post suddenly comes over you (happens in the best of families), the use of spoiler tags is much appreciated. Some already know them and use them, some may have heard about of but not found them and finally some may never have heard of them. If you need to give away stuff that you suspect other people might not appreciate use this:

Little Red Riding Hood wondered why Granny looked slightly odd...
Spoiler warning:
The Big Bad Wolf ate Granny and took her place

Which makes it look like this:
Little Red Riding Hood wondered why Granny looked slightly odd...

Spoiler warning:

Then your fellow forumites can decide for themselves if they want to highlight the information. Wanna bet that 99% does that? :)
